Storyclash has a vital client base in the media sector who initially understood the value proposition as a leading content discovery solution. Based on early market signals and research Storyclash aimed to extend its clientbase from media companies & publishers to agencies and brands. Along this process the founder team wanted to establish a market centric growth culture in the organisation.
"Every company is a media company" is the mantra of the social media age. Therefore we fine tuned the value proposition of the product for agencies and brands, connecting Storyclash features to critical core processes in the everyday life of editors and creatives, wether they work in agencies or with brands. To re-work existing sales collateral and online assets we started developing personas for the specific segments of our newly defined target markets. Based on that we were tapping into the network of the founders of Speedinvest Pirates in order to gather initial market feedback and fill up Storyclash`s sales funnel.
Over the course of 6 months we saved the founder team time and resources, drove the whole process and greatly contributed to a more market centric approach of Storyclash. In that time several dozen high qualified leads, personal sales meetings and presentations at conferences were conducted successfully with significant impact on traction and MRR.
